The 2016 Girl’s Academic Basketball Camp in Metro NY at Sarah Lawrence College’s Bronxville NY campus on July 30 is open to current high players (Classes of 2017, 2018 and 2019) with a GPA and SAT/ACT scores necessary for admittance to a top academic college, and proven Varsity talent on the court. Academic Basketball™ is running the camp providing services and information to academically strong athletes enabling them to Earn A College Uniform.

BOYS ACADEMIC BASKETBALL CAMP – Preparing for Brandeis

The 2016 All Academic Basketball Camp will be held at Brandeis on Tue-Thu July 5-7. To prepare 80 student athletes for this most important exposure event on the calendar – considered mandatory for Academic Basketball Club players – Academic Basketball™ will hold a preparatory weekend event in Metro NY at Sarah Lawrence College’s Bronxville campus on Sunday July 3, 2015, the weekend before Brandeis. This camp is open to 80 current high school players (Classes of 2017 – ’19) to provide student athletes with grades and test scores needed for admittance to top academic colleges, and proven varsity talent on the court, with an opportunity to be seen by coaches from top academic colleges. These coaches watch each game played at the Academic Basketball Camp and provide immediate review directly to the players allowing the opportunity to develop better, more effective techniques in time to use them at Brandeis. Academic Basketball™ is working in association with Hoop Mountain & their All Academic Camp, the leading exposure camp for academically strong basketball players.

CRITERIA

In order to be considered for the Academic Basketball Camp presented a player needs a minimum GPA of 3.2/4.0 (un-weighted); rising Seniors should have an SAT score (Math/Critical Reading) of 1100+ or an ACT composite score of 25 or higher though this is a “should”, not a “must” as many academic schools have now gone to a test-optional admission policy.

Who: Top-flight academic student-athletes entering sophomore, junior, senior years, or post-grad.

The mission of the All Academic Camp presented by Hoop Mountain is to provide top level student-athletes with a venue to showcase their basketball talents. Our goal is to provide the very best student-athletes from around the globe an opportunity to be seen by coaches from academic institutions in the country. This relationship will reward special student-athletes for their academic and athletic abilities and achievements.
